VERIFY^® Steam Integrator Strips

The VERIFY Steam Integrator Strips are paper sterilization strips with a printed line of yellow chemical integrator ink. The steam sterilization indicator strips help monitor all critical parameters of sterilization (exposure time, temperature, and steam) in an autoclave. These test strips are available in two lengths: 8-1/2" (216 mm) and 4-1/4" (108 mm). Each box contains 250 steam sterilization indicator strips.

How VERIFY Steam Integrator Strips Work

These steam sterilization indicator strips are designed for use in common steam sterilization processes: 250°F (121°C) gravity steam, 270°F (132°C) prevacuum steam, and 270°F (132°C) gravity steam. Following the sterilization cycle, a color change of the steam integrator ink on the strip provides an immediate indication of exposure to the sterilant. If no color change occurs, this may indicate that the steam sterilization integrator was not exposed to sterilizing conditions because of an equipment malfunction or procedural error in the sterilization process.
