Fehling Solution B( 250ML)

Fehling′s Solution No. 2 is an aqueous solution of alkaline tartrate. Use to distinguish between aldehyde and ketone functional groups. The aldehydes are oxidised which in turn reduces the copper (II) ions to copper (I) ions. The reactions are similar to that of Benedict′s solution.
